Given the recent experience in our team of Breakbulk Lines and how all the different service providers in the supply chain affect each other, we currently bring in 1200mt of steel pipe and tubing a month. We are increasingly being asked to assist more and more Tier 2 companies in the heavy industries around Australia as we are known for being “The Problem Solvers”.
Recently there was a shipment waiting to be loaded on a truck with customs cleared, delivery orders signed and under the management of a well known logistics company. Despite this they had a TA refusing to load out the truck and not one of the five parties involved was able to work out why the load was being refused.
The clerks could not work it out. The shipping line could not work it out. The toll truck driver could not work it out. Two hours passed and still there has been no resolution.
With ten minutes of Kenter being involved the problem was solved. Why? Because our team has intimate knowledge and understanding of the operational processes and can pinpoint the issue swiftly and avoid days of accumulation wharf storage and truck waiting charges.
