SYDNEY, June 24, 2024 – Kenter Logistics, a female-led logistics powerhouse, proudly sponsored the Excellence in Transport award at the 2024 Women in Industry Awards held at Dolton House in Sydney on Thursday, June 20th. The annual event celebrates the outstanding achievements of women in traditionally male-dominated industries, including mining, transport, manufacturing, and more.
Kenter’s founder and Head of Sales, Emily Jackman, presented the award to Anne Modderno, the first female managing director of any Swietelsky International subsidiary.
During the presentation, Jackman acknowledged the courage of all finalists, stating, “It’s a huge achievement… I can’t give you enough accolades for even putting your name up there and letting us all celebrate.”
In her acceptance speech, Modderno emphasized the importance of recognizing women’s achievements: “This is why we need awards like this… We need to get uncomfortable about being comfortable to talk about what we achieved because if we can’t project it, if we can’t show it, then no one else will see it. No one else will want to be it.”
