CMMFEU Protected Industrial Action for DP World Sydney – 15/01 to 22/01/2024
We wish to inform you that the CFMMEU has issued a notice to DP World Sydney regarding additional Protected Industrial Action scheduled from 15th January to 22nd January 2024. The action will impact various aspects of our operations, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this period.
Key details of the industrial action include:
1. Ban on the loading and unloading of trucks and trains:
• From 06:00 AM on Monday, 15th January, to 06:00 AM on Tuesday, 16th January.
• From 06:00 AM on Friday, 19th January, to 06:00 AM on Saturday, 20th January.
2. Stoppages of work:
• 2-hour duration stoppages from 05:00-07:00 AM, 13:00-15:00 PM, and 21:00-23:00 PM each day.
• Starting from 13:00 PM on Monday, 15th January, and concluding at 07:00 AM on Monday, 22nd January.
During the specified hours, all Road and Rail operations will be halted. Further details regarding the affected time zones will be updated in 1-stop.
Impact on Operations: DPWA management acknowledges the inconvenience this may cause to your business and appreciates your patience as we navigate through this process. They remain dedicated to achieving a new Enterprise Agreement that enhances productivity and will provide updates as progress allows.
